The pinnacle of an awesome week!

You can't keep a Veteran down! After an introduction to a half a day of hand planning work yesterday, all 8 Participants, sore bodies and all, have shown up for another full day of hard work. By days end the butt and tip sections ( 6 individual bamboo strips for each) will be glued together! What a diverse and neat group of Great Americans! Stay tuned

Lead Instructor Dave Jankowski, with an assist from Instructor Dave Hellman, discusses the 12 step process involved in the building of a bamboo rod. This is a general outline of the steps students will take over the next 5 days to build a rod to take home at the end of the event!

After arriving safely from around the country yesterday , eight Participants began the 2019 class this morning. A quick casting lesson from Volunteer Peter Jones was a prelude to students casting and choosing from the 3 rod tapers offered, the Garrison 209, Dickerson 7613 and the Phantom!
